PADI Basic Mermaid (Ages 6+)
Description: Do you want an introduction towards what it is like to be a professional mermaid? PADI Basic Mermaid is an excellent class if you are not fully committed to going all the way towards a PADI Advanced Mermaid or PADI Mermaid Instructor and just want to see what it’s all about before making a further investment. We will go over a powerpoint of basic knowledge and have a confined pool setting to try on a monofin and practice the dynamics of how to use one in the water.
Requirements: Must be 6+ years of age, be able to swim 25 meters (80 feet) without assistance, float at ease for a minimum of 3 minutes, and be in good health. No prior experience other than swimming is needed!
Location: Orlando, FL (pool location disclosed upon booking) | We can also travel to you for private mermaid swim lessons and it is an excellent activity to coordinate for children & adult events, bachelorette, & birthday parties.

PADI Mermaid (Ages 10+) certification class
Description: PADI Mermaid is recommended for mermaids who want to begin the certification process of becoming a mermaid and want to learn more skills. There are two confined water training sessions that prepare you to swim comfortably in a mermaid tail & monofin, and to begin molding yourself into a skillful, captivating, underwater artist in the world of mermaiding. (*Includes PADI Basic Mermaid)
Requirements: Must be 10+ years of age, be able to swim 50 meters (160 feet) without assistance, float at ease for a minimum of 5 minutes, and be in good health. No prior experience other than swimming is needed!
Location: Orlando, FL (pool location disclosed upon booking) | We can also travel to you for private mermaid swim lessons and it is an excellent activity to coordinate for children & adult events, bachelorette, & birthday parties.

*PADI Advanced Mermaid (Ages 12+) certification class
PADI Advanced Mermaid is highly recommended if you want to be a professional mermaid in the industry. This is your opportunity to be trained in an open water environment with your applied mermaid tail & monofin and can be in the ocean or springs. This class will prepare you on the contrast of confined water spaces vs. more vast, deep, challenging factors. You will also learn about how to navigate the different aquatic ecosystems, marine and/or freshwater life around you to make sure you are safe and you’re keeping the environment as you left it as well.
Requirements: Must be 12+ years of age, be able to swim 100 meters (320 feet) without assistance, float at ease for a minimum of 10 minutes, and be in good health. *PADI Mermaid Certification or equivalent from another mermaid training school required.
Location: A Florida Spring or Ocean Water Site (details disclosed upon booking) | We can also travel to you for private mermaid swim lessons and schedule an open water site of your preference.
